R.J. Ong is a director of photography who gained recognition at the 70th British Society of Cinematographers with a Best Cinematography In a Music Video nomination for his work on Common saints - illusions.
an alumni of the national film and television school in beaconsfield, He began his career as a camera assistant and has since collaborated with established directors such as Emil nava working on projects such as Ed Sheeran’s intimate “CAMERA” music video and Ed’s Spotify Billion's Club Concert film. both of them soon found another successful collaboration with Laufey’s 100 MILES lexus and amazon concert film.
Since then, he has been invited to participate as a Jury for the Videoclip Italia Awards and has his work accepted in international festivals such as
the baftas, Sxsw, iffr, Tribeca, bfi lff and many more.
